What's Happening
We continue to expand our freestyle terrain to include beginner and intermediate features, terrain parks, a halfpipe, fun boxes, and rails in various locations around the mountain.
Parks & Pipes
Riders appreciate our commitment to freestyle riding, as demonstrated by our assortment of parks, rails, fun boxes and other terrain features. Enjoy terrain parks of varying ability levels including beginner, intermediate, and advanced parks. Tools and benches at the top of lifts, snowboard rentals of all sizes, high performance packages, a wide assortment of freeriding terrain, and an unpretentious, playful vibe round out the Resort's extensive freestyle offering.
Navajo Lodge Learning Center
The perfect place for adults and kids, combining fun coaching programs with an entire mountain dedicated to newcomers to the sport. Features include long groomed runs and beginner terrain parks.
Night Skiing & Boarding
Three beginner runs at Pioneer chairlift #6, open every Friday and Saturday night through March 24 from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Open holiday evenings until 9 p.m. Lift tickets and ski and snowboard rental packages are only $12 each.
Snow Tubing
Affordable fun for the whole family, like a frozen water slide park! Open daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., night tubing open Friday and Saturday until 8 p.m., plus holiday evenings until 8 p.m. Two-hour sessions are only $12 and includes tube and surface lift service. All sessions begin on even hours.
Group Rates
Discounts on lift tickets, rental equipment, lessons and snow tubing tickets are available to groups of 20 or more when booking at least 48 hours in advance through our Group Sales Office. Winter Season Closing Date:
Our last day of the Winter Season will be April 6, 2008.
Night Skiing & Boarding
Three beginner runs at Pioneer chairlift #6, open every Friday and Saturday night from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Open nightly through the Christmas holiday until 9 p.m. Lift tickets are $12. and ski and snowboard rental packages are only $12 .
Lifts
9 lifts, including 7 triple chairlifts, 1 double chairlift and 1 surface lift at the Tubing Park.
Runs & Terrain
50 runs on over 500 acres, with 40% of the runs designated Easier, 40% Intermediate and 20% Most Difficult.
Elevation & Vertical Drop
Brian Head Resort boasts the state’s highest base elevation - 9,600 feet. 11,000 feet at the peak with a 1,320-foot, lift-served vertical drop. Total vertical drop including hiking-accessed terrain is 1,707 feet.
Snow
Brian Head receives an average of 400 inches of legendary Utah powder annually.
